The Helen H. Taylor Center for Professional Development (PDC) is an intimate training setting located within Teaching Strategies’ headquarters in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Named for a visionary Head Start leader and champion of young children, the Center is an essential part of Teaching Strategies' full-service professional development program for early educators.
The Latest Thinking in Early Childhood Education
At the PDC, educators will engage with the latest thinking in early childhood education, network with peers from around the country, and often, have the opportunity to meet Teaching Strategies' authors. A convenient year-round schedule enables teachers and administrators to customize their professional development program with a range of sessions from introductory to advanced.
The PDC is accessible by subway and is close to museums, monuments, theater, shopping, live music, and great restaurants, offering the perfect opportunity to combine professional development with vacation!
