Marketing and Implementation Manager; Middle East

Project/Position Overview
Teaching Strategies is currently recruiting to fill two contract positions, one in Amman, Jordan, and one in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Each position has a 2-year contract. These positions will collaborate with the leadership of Teaching Strategies, as well as our Middle East partner, to implement our preschool materials and provide professional development. The home location for each of these positions will be staffed with additional personnel who will provide resources and support for the below responsibilities. The below roles and responsibilities are for the two open roles.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities
The following job responsibilities will evolve over the life cycle of the contract. In collaboration with leadership from Teaching Strategies and our Middle East partner:

  • Work with Marketing Director and Marketing team to:
    • Identify lead markets, key contacts and business development relationships to enter the market
    • Help develop and execute sales and marketing plan:
      • Ensure all key audiences are identified
      • Attend and present at conferences and exhibits
      • Meet with potential customers and support the full lifecycle of the sales process
      • Review direct mail and e-mail marketing campaigns for content and messaging
    • Coordinate schedules for deploying TSI authors and experts to support marketing and sales efforts
  • Train and implement Teaching Strategies preschool system to customers in the Middle East
    • Work closely with Teaching Strategies Professional Development team to ensure that our offerings support the needs of our Middle East customers
    • Provide professional development training to customers
    • Support implementation of Teaching Strategies materials as needed to ensure positive customer experience and use of Teaching Strategies products

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BA in Early Childhood Education or related field (Masters Preferred)
  • Experience in developing of (ideally) and executing marketing plans; understanding of early childhood market strongly desired
  • Understanding and experience applying adult learning theories
  • 5  or more years of direct experience as an early childhood classroom teacher and/or administrator
  • Proficient with the use of technology as a medium for professional development
  • Strong familiarity with Teaching Strategies products
  • International work experience, specifically in the Middle East a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
