The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos System

The first 3 years of a child's life are critical to healthy development. The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos System provides everything you need to build a successful program:

Ensure that your program has all the right components for supporting infants, toddlers, and twos. The Creative Curriculum--your single source of support for the crucial first years.

Curriculum - in English and now in Spanish!

The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers & Twos translates research and theory from the field of early childhood education into a practical, easy-to-understand approach to working with children and their families. It is a comprehensive curriculum with a clear organizational structure and a particular focus on routines and experiences.

Assessment - in English and Spanish

As an educator, you want to know if every child is developing and learning as expected in all four areas of development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. The Creative Curriculum® Developmental Continuum for Infants, Toddlers & Twos is designed to help you find out by making purposeful observation part of your everyday practice. Core to the assessment portion of The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos System, The Developmental Continuum helps you to evaluate each child's developmental level, to map each child's progress, and to plan learning experiences based on individual strengths and needs. Through its use of The Creative Curriculum® goals and objectives, the assessment and curriculum are linked, allowing you to use the information from ongoing strengths-based assessment to inform your teaching.

Teaching Strategies provides both a Web-based and paper version of The Developmental Continuum for ease of use in any type of program.

Professional Development

Great classrooms and programs begin with well-trained staff members who are enthusiastic about implementing the curriculum effectively. To build a high-quality program and successfully implement your Infants, Toddlers & Twos System, it is crucial to offer ongoing learning opportunities. Throughout the year, Teaching Strategies offers national conferences, on-site professional development, and technology seminars on our online assessment system, CreativeCurriculum.net.
