Through eCDA you will receive expert instruction, can earn up to nine college credits through Northampton Community College, and will be fully prepared to apply for your CDA credential. New cohorts begin every month!

Using state-of-the-art adult education, eCDA delivers the following benefits to programs and students:

  • Helps programs meet the new minimum degree requirements for Early Head Start teachers and Head Start teaching assistants, as well as state licensing regulations
  • Meets the requirement for 120-clock hours of instruction
  • Includes online, interactive exercises and knowledge assessments plus off-line activities that integrate learning with practice
  • Features expert instruction by faculty from The Center for Early Childhood Education at Northampton Community College as part of their renowned online learning program
  • Prepares students with all they need to complete the CDA application process
  • Provides nine credit hours toward an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education upon successful completion of the course
