On-Site Customized Professional Development With the Staff Development Network

On-site professional development brings our Staff Development Network Trainers directly to your program or community for a customized session that targets your specific professional development needs. With a robust series of sessions and decades of experience, our SDN works closely with you to ensure that your staff is fully supported to successfully implement The Creative Curriculum®. On-site professional development is available for as little as two days or as much as several weeks. You can train your entire program at one time or partner with other programs in your community.

The first step in arranging on-site professional development is completing our online On-Site Professional Development Needs Assessment Form. This thorough process captures your goals, attributes of your program, staff experience, past professional development, and more. Once this assessment is completed, you are matched with the SDN member best qualified to support your program. He or she will contact you and begin designing an on-site program that will meet your unique needs.

Technical Assistance With the Staff Development Network

Many times, training is not enough! Implementing The Creative Curriculum throughout your program is an on-going process. Our Staff Development Network is particularly equipped to help you implement and coach in conjunction with or long after your professional development sessions or conferences are over. Technical assistance is designed based on the needs of the client, and can include several components. Each TA plan is co-constructed by the program and their assigned staff development network trainer in order to meet the individual needs of the client.

With Technical Assistance, you can build an on-going relationship with a SDN trainer for sustained capacity building. Through coaching, program evaluation, collaborative problem-solving, and regular learning opportunities, technical assistance helps to move staff from abstract concepts presented in the training room to the reality of their practice with young children.

To design the right Technical Assistance support for your program, please call 800-637-3652 and ask to speak with the Professional Development Department.
