Family Connection Overview

At Teaching Strategies we view families as important partners in children's learning. Teachers who foster trusting partnerships with their children's families are often rewarded with a deeper insight into individual children's learning styles and developmental progress.
Because building these relationships with families involves respecting their culture and keeping them informed about their child's activities, our Family Connection resources are carefully designed to help you communicate effectively and encourage families to get involved in planning their children's learning experiences. You'll get the support you need to effectively help children navigate between their two most important worlds: school and home.
Our program resources offer practical guidance on partnering with families in a meaningful and respectful way. Our resources for families offer fun, easy ways for them to interact with their children every day that will extend learning and send the message that adult-child relationships are the building blocks to success in school and in life.
