Teaching Strategies' Global EffortsTeaching Strategies recognizes the global need for high-quality early childhood materials and professional development services. We know that critical brain development occurs during the period from birth to age 5, and high-quality early childhood education plays an integral role in that development. Our mission is to enhance the quality of early childhood programs by offering practical, innovative, and developmentally appropriate curriculum materials; staff development services and materials; and family resources. The Creative Curriculum® is currently used in programs serving children birth through age five across the United States and around the world. Our materials are available in English, Spanish, and a process has been established for additional translations. Our research-based products and services are designed to meet the demands of our evolving field, and we strive to support the needs of early childhood educational professionals by providing them with developmentally appropriate materials. They provide early childhood professionals around the world with strategies to work effectively with young children and their families. Recognizing that each district, state, region, and country has its own culture and characteristics, Teaching Strategies strives to respect differences while building on fundamental commonalities. In the course of more than 20 years in the field, we have found that many components of early childhood education transcend borders, allowing us to create a strong global early childhood community whose primary objective is helping every child develop and learn.
