The Teaching Strategies System for Pre-K: A System To Support All Classrooms
Welcome to the Teaching Strategies System for Pre-K, designed especially for educators in Texas. It's a system for success, entirely available in English and in Spanish, that combines curriculum, assessment, professional development, and family connection resources to support every program.

With 38 core objectives for development and learning that are fully aligned with the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines, the Teaching Strategies System for Pre-K helps teachers ensure that when they teach, they're focusing on what matters most for preschool children. Best of all, it takes the guesswork out of meeting the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines each day.

Curriculum
At the heart of the Teaching Strategies System for Pre-K are our curricular resources. Newly revised to reflect the most up-to-date research and knowledge about quality early childhood programs, The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool incorporates the 38 objectives for development and learning that are most predictive of school success and that are fully aligned with the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines. Providing essential foundational information as well as an entire year's worth of day-to-day, moment-to-moment support, our curriculum resources are the best solution to help all early childhood teachers meet their goals--whether they are new to the field or highly experienced.

Assessment
All materials in the Teaching Strategies System for Pre-K are linked to 38 objectives for development and learning that are predictors of school success and aligned to the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines. And assessment guidance is presented throughout the material, to help strengthen implementation for teachers at all levels of experience and provide the support they need to help children progress.

Professional Development
Professional development is directly embedded in all of the resources that make up the Teaching Strategies System for Pre-K. This means that there's moment-to-moment, day-to-day support for teachers who need it, but there's also plenty of flexibility and choice for more experienced educators.

Family Connection
Finding ways to build meaningful partnerships with families has never been easier than with the Teaching StrategiesSystem for Pre-K. Early childhood educators will find support throughout the system to help them build essential bridges between a child's two most important worlds: school and home.

Research Foundation
The Teaching Strategies System for Pre-K is thoroughly research-based, resting upon a solid foundation of the most up-to-date information on how children develop and learn and what's most important for their success in school. At the heart of the System lies The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool, and rigorous independent studies have shown The Creative Curriculum® to have positive impacts, ranging from improved classroom quality to stronger cognitive, academic, and social-emotional skills.
