Restructuring at Teaching Strategies to Manage Ongoing Growth
Washington, DC, March 21, 2007-Teaching Strategies, Inc., is pleased to announce a series of changes designed to ensure that the company's organizational structure supports its recent dramatic growth. Diane Trister Dodge, founder and president, and Grant Davies, CEO, have expanded Teaching Strategies upper-level management team to make certain that the company can continue to provide excellent customer service and deliver cutting-edge products during a time of rapid expansion. "This is an exciting time for the company as a whole and we look forward to continued growth," said Davies.
Fran Simon has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Technology Initiatives. In addition to her existing duties leading the Technology Initiatives team, Simon now will oversee the newly renamed Marketing and Communications Department. During her 7 years with Teaching Strategies, Simon has proven to be a key contributor to our success through her passion for our work and her commitment to the organization's mission and vision.
In addition to his ongoing responsibilities as Publisher, Larry Bram's role has expanded to lead many of the organization's new initiatives. He has formally been promoted to Publisher and Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and will oversee the integration and success of future endeavors. Additionally, Bram will play a critical role in developing a 4-year product strategy focusing on pre-K programs, e-learning, and international markets.
Lastly, Andrea Valentine is assuming additional responsibilities in her expanded role as Director of Customer Relations and Operations. Andrea will now oversee all roles and responsibilities that focus on our internal operations and business support. This includes Customer Relations, Project Management, Information Technology, and Office Management. In less than one year at Teaching Strategies, Andrea has had tremendous success in building the Customer Relations team and processes.
