Super Groups helps educators to turn group time, a potentially difficult time of the day, into an enjoyable, enriching learning experience for everyone! Super Groups gives teachers practical strategies for engaging children while handling typical guidance challenges.

This DVD shows how to increase children’s participation, strengthen their self-regulation skills, and enhance reading aloud to fully involve children. It includes three programs:

• Come Join In! demonstrates how teachers involve children in activities and adjust their responses to children's varying abilities, offering techniques that are critical for holding a group's attention and preventing disruptions.
• Give Yourself a Hand shows that children will engage in activities and manage more readily when they clearly understand what to expect and what is expected of them, offering core strategies that enable children to self-manage at group and circle time.
• Once Upon a Time offers vivid examples that show how reading aloud promotes language and literacy.
