A session for teachers and administrators experienced in using The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos and/or The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool.

Learn how The Creative Curriculum® addresses the needs of children who are learning English as a second language, strategies for building effective partnerships with families, and ways to support children's acquisition of English.

Participants will leave this session knowing how to:

  • apply basic theories of second language acquisition in young children
  • build partnerships with families to strengthen the home/school connection
  • set up the learning environment to reflect and honor the culture and languages of the children and families
  • implement successful teaching strategies to help children learn English
