This ongoing, authentic assessment system is based on The Creative Curriculum^® Developmental Continuum for Infants, Toddlers & Twos. Its 21 objectives provide teachers with a comprehensive picture of how children develop in four developmental areas and enables teachers to see the next steps. Fully integrated with the upcoming new edition of The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers & Twos, it helps teachers to be better observers, to plan based on their knowledge of each child, and to be more responsive to the changing needs and abilities of young children. The Teacher's Guide provides specific guidance on using the system with children with special needs.
