The DVD contains two separate videos:

• Celebrating Language and Literacy for Infants, Toddlers & Twos shows how early literacy skills develop within the context of caring relationships and experiences with families, providers, and communities. The first building blocks of language and literacy are shown supported by adults who intentionally facilitate children's interests within environments rich in opportunities. It provides examples of the many ways that language and literacy develops in a variety of cultures and languages, and demonstrates how adults can help very young children read the world around them.
